Ok, people, these are normally long but let’s keep this short and sweet…THIS IS ABOUT AS COOL OF A TRIP AS WE CAN PLAN!! Under the package we have set up, you will go to TWO sacred grounds this weekend. We start with a great Friday night bar crawl on State and Division Streets with our good friends at McFadden’s, Finn McCool’s, and end at Shenanigan’s! There will be no cover and great drink specials for all!
Upon waking Saturday morning, you will take a charter bus to the real “holy land,” South Bend, Indiana, where you will watch local Temple Owls take on National Championship contender and number 1 ranked college team in the land, the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame!! This is the first time these two have EVER met on the gridiron and the start of a 3-year series of meetings. We will have a full tailgate there and you will enjoy that which many people have never seen, a Philadelphia football team playing in South Bend!
Saturday night’s an open night as you are free to do whatever you choose! We will have some specials set up but we are going to try to let everyone sample the flavor of all of Chicago and what you might like. Sunday we will hop on the Red Line of which we will already have your passes, and head to Wrigleyville! We will have a private bar in a special part of Murphy’s Bleachers where your beer and house well drinks will be covered for two-hours. With 1-hour to go before the first pitch, we will head to 3643 Sheffield (center field rooftop that’s NOT looking directly into the sun) where all of your food (great spread), beer, wine, and tips are included until 30 minutes AFTER the game!
The first hotel that we were promoting Millenium Knickerbocker Hotel has sold out, but we have secured another the Chicago Marriott Magnificent Mile, also near the John Hancock Building, a block from Lake Michigan and the beaches, Oak Street Beachstro (ranked number 11 sexiest beach bars in the world by the Travel Channel), a half mile from Castaways, and 3 blocks from our festivities at State & Division Street!
